PRIVATE TOUR

THE MAYAN RUINS OF CHICHEN ITZA & IZAMAL

Chichén Itzá; One of the New seven wonders of the world, Its construction was planned so that during each Equinox the dying sun would cast a shadow of a serpent (the Mayan God Kukulkan) writhing down the steps of the pyramid.

Considered one of the most important ceremonial centers in the Mayan world, its buildings are a demonstration of the knowledge that the Mayans had in mathematics and astronomy. In this tour we will be able to see the impressive pyramid of Kukulkan, where every year, on the same date, thousands of tourists travel to witness one of the most emblematic events of this culture, the Spring Equinox.

Shortly afterwards and to close this experience with a flourish, we will visit a colonial city which has been awarded several recognitions for its architectural beauty and history.
